The $9 is to get into the area but you have to buy your Pay Dirt, and that can be between $15 to $365. You can buy a front end loader of dirt and it would probably take a couple of hours to do. There is always someone there to assist you. You do get gold for the amount that you pay.
We have a $12.95 admission cost. This includes 1 pan of gold ore to pan through and a 2 gallon bucket of gemstone dirt. You also get to go through the mining museum. If you by a bag of dirt there is no cost to pan it. A bag is $15
Not sure about group price but its fixed and no group discount
