If you can't get to your mechanic ASAP (the best idea), at least go by an auto parts store for a free OBD scan. Then, as the above suggested, you'll have more motivation as to the severity of the problem.
Whenever you see the tool icon on it's a maintenance issue you must take your car to your local Honda dealership service department.
Check your owners manual. I bet it says take it into the dealer ASAP. You can damage your engine depending on what the problem is and the severity of the problem.
