Went there to drop off a delivery. It was too busy. Had to wait 5 hours. But they have a nice canteen with vending machines.

I worked at Makita and the pressure and stress to work there is not worth 16 a hour nor the incentive they offer 17 if your on time 6:45am arrival for a 7am shift and work up until the buzzer goes off. During the time they add things daily to avoid giving incentive pay. From no hoodies which it's cold in the warehouse, to be back at your work station before the buzzer ends break. Break time is only 10 minutes and 30 minutes. Your fingers will be sore no matter how much tape you use and they have no compassion what so ever toward your feet, back nor finger hurting.they want there production from 500 to a 1000 tools, yet tell you you get paid by the hour not production yet will fire you if you don't meet production. made per 8 hrs daily. The line leaders are rude to the Temps if they are new, they offer training yet you don't get properly trained they show you 2x how to assemble a part and expect you to make production. There is no growth and the company itself keeps you as a temp for years where you lack benefits like paid holidays and time off. It's stressful from the attitudes of some of the workers.
