I have been trying to get a hold of my sons case worker for MA for months but she never returns my calls. His MA is now inactive which is affecting his prescription refills that he can’t go without. How can I get my case worker to return my calls?

Contact your Case Worker not the financial worker immediately & let Them know problem of financial worker not responding.. Stress issue about no meds. If you have any other providers working with you & your son, enlist their help. Give them permission to speak to Cty personnel on your behalf. Sometimes having someone with letters behind their names gets action faster than we can. Couple things with prescriptions- ask at the Dr. Office for samples or for discount prescription cards. Most Dr. Offices & clinics now have cards from various programs that offer up to 80% off. Anyone can use these. They're also in some magazines in clincs. Also, try getting a week supply from the pharmacy to hold over while trying to get reactivated. I'm giving these suggestions based on experience & knowing going in is not always an option.
