I live on Sims Ave. The plow came through and all they did was pack down the snow on top of the ice that was still there from a previous storm. Why don't they put salt on these neighborhood streets?

I have had nothing but great interactions with city workers - from public works, to licensing, to Cops and Fire - and nothing but remarkable disappointment in the city's managers. So many resources, such a beautiful city, incredible cronyism and waste.

Well it's a little late now. If you want your street plowed the best it can be, then make sure that ALL of your neighbors park off the street during a snow emergency. That way the plow trucks can get down your street and are able to plow it curb to curb. The plow trucks have many other streets than just yours to plow and if they can't get down your street they will simply go on to the next one where there is compliance to the snow emergency parking. I hope you the best in the next snow emergency.
Which walking path? It could be County or City. Possibly Parks or Public Works.
