Has anyone been to both the Science Museum of Minnesota and the Minnesota Children's Museum? Which do you prefer if we can only do 1? Our children range in age from 3-11.

The Children's Museum is better for young children. Even your 11 year old will have fun with most of the exhibits. I also love the one exit in/out. It makes it easy to keep an eye on the kids. There is a climbing area/slide, car wash, etc. and Daniel Tiger is the featured Exhibit.

Children's museum would be our choice ....the big kids live the ping ball station figuring out how to launch the balls across the room also they really like the laser beam room and then on the top floor there is a place for older kids to do a craft that you sign up for overall it's just a very fun place for a family day

Definitely the Children's Museum, the science museum is awesome, but sometimes it is hard to manage a three-year-old there.

I think you may have more fun with your kiddos at the age their at, but the science museum is really awesome too!!
