You need to arrive about 1.5 hours to 2 hours early. That way you'll get parked and in the gate and still have time to use the rest room get drinks, food, etc.
We arrived at 5:30 for a 7 pm show. Worked out GREAT. 2nd in line for security.

We got the about 7pm, parked, got a drink, used the restroom and got to our seats like 20 mins before the show started. #DMB
It depends on if you want to see the opener. If yes then I typically shoot for being in the parking lot 45 mins before it starts. Then you have leeway for traffic and such.
It depends on if you are sitting in the lawn or in a seat. Lawn probably and hour before the show starts to get a good spot. If you are in a seat you just need time to get a drink before the show, so maybe a half hour or so.
I arrived an hour early for meet and greet, and that was too early.
