This is not the office to go to about drivers licenses, this office is for property taxes and car tags. You need to go to the Department of Driver Services.
You should be able to do this. You can make an appointment online or go to the office and sign into the wait list. I went to the office and made an appointment for the next day. They sent a text and I was shown right into the office. The wait list can take hours so just make an appointment.
