No need to take appointment...U can go and visit temple directly.... just check the temple timings in BAPS website
there is also a dress code and no shoes allowed on the inside of the temple; I'd check their website for guidelines ahead of time so that you are prepared.

You can drive your car, no Parking fee, very spacious to stroll around, Beautiful temple inside also Timings 9am to 6 pm Aarati at 7.30 am ,11.15am n 7 pm local time, its peaceful to watch, Gift shop is there Vegetarian cafe with snacks n lunch items available.
