I was gone for a few months an my roommates took my dog an tortoise to the animal shelter they didn't even come find me at all and find out what I want to do with the animals and I didn't even sign nothing to them and they still adopted them out

Animals that are abandoned are held for one month, after that they are adopted out or killed.

I don't work for them I'm just a patron but you might have to take your roommates to small claim court
