SSC (second chence center) is for formally incarcerated people. If you meet that criteria I'd advise you to check out the website or go down there in person. They do so many things there it's hard to keep up.. Hope i could be of assistance for you 😃
They don't only fund one...
All the above provided you are in one of there programs ie wageess
Yes
i believe this program is only for people on parole or in community corrections. but if you are on parole, you go down there and the lady will help get you set up. it takes maybe 5 min to get all set up. they have breakfast, work out rooms, laundry room, and clothing you can go through.
If you are not a convicted felon with an active case you will have to look else where... If you have an active case they may be able to help but you have to go in and do an intake.
Yes thay do
Look into Brownstone Realty Im a felon I have 2 cats and rents about 950
Who did you contact..specifically
Yes, you can either formally appeal or informally go to the super above whoever denied it. However, if the plan was denied because of something specific to your crime, ie, sex offense+daycare in the lobby of the building you're trying to parole to, or proximity to a victim, (no offense, just an extreme example), it ain't happening, period, so you might be better off trying a new plan, if something like that's the case
Idk.. I'm a volunteer/ex-client success story. I'd go to their website👍
Are you a CAC?
Yes. Come in for an intake. 224 Potomac St.
@ second chance?
Not true they absolutely do
No, they can't help you any longer then 6 months after your discharge date.
Yes you can get two bus tickets every time you go in for free if your on parole or probation
no, without question from the director to all of the staff at Second Chance, they are there and are willing help those reintegrate back into society from their time of incarceration they are there to help. A lot of the staff are ex felons and they know how difficult it is to get on the right path. Mr. Latif and all his staff extremely helpful down to earth and willing to go the extra mile to make sure your success. Rest assure they would want to see the work from you to become a success and they will demand it. They are the best without question call or go down there on a Saturday morning and you will see for yourself. Good luck to you and your future endeavors give second chance, a chance
Like a lot of different places you have your good and bad, but really it's what you make of it. It's changing daily into a more positive direction.
You are asking an organization that provides services to people just out of prison.
Sorry dont know him
