At our October Board of Director’s meeting, capital expenditures were approved to renovate the 2nd floor of our Norwich site to increase space for program growth. Assessment began over the past few weeks by our contractors to begin that work. A significant structural integrity issue was found within the Norwich building that has required us to vacate the premises. Immediate action was taken to protect the safety and well-being of both our patients and staff. The organization has transferred all of our Norwich clients and staff to the Willimantic site, at 54-56 Boston Post Road, which is approximately 17 miles away. If there is an option more convenient for our clients than Willimantic, we will also work with them to ensure that transition. This immediate action will maintain uninterrupted care for our clients. The Willimantic site has a great deal of parking, and a second building on the site that was completed approximately 3 years ago, currently unused, and can be utilized -
