As of September 2022, the 1309 Steam engine is running. It pulls the front of the Frostburg Flyer from Cumberland to Frostburg and pushes the back of the train from Frostburg to Cumberland on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. It departs from and returns to the rail yard in Ridgeley, WV.
As of June 2021 it is not running. They need more money for repairs. The diesel locomotive is being used
