We went September 23rd and it was too early. If you wait until the end of October it will be too late.
They offer rides into November. With beautiful fall foliage
If they offer it, I imagine the best time would be around Halloween, as there'll be color on the ground and no leaves on the trees to block the vistas 😉
Winter
For 2022, the last Frostburg Flyer ride and the last Pumpkin Patch ride are on 30 October. The last Polar Express ride is on 24 December. There is a special New Years Eve dinner excursion on 31 December. (This is as far as the WMSR calendar shows as of September 2022).
Pretty much all year long.
