I got my sweet little kitten from a litter that was born at the shelter. They charged $30 cash only and it covered her spay which was pre scheduled. It all depends on the situation, but that was my experience :)

It depends, some can even be free, just depends on the shelter and the situation

Kittens adoption fees are $50 which includes their spay/neuter surgery, rabies/FeLV/FIV booster vaccinations, wormer and topical flea meds. We also offer a special adopt one, get one for $50 as we feel kittens do better in pairs. At times, especially during overcrowding (like now) the shelter will waive the fees.
