Drove today from Las Vegas to Peach Springs, was at the total wrong side. Happens to many many people before. This ist a native American reservation. Don't do the same mistake as it happens to me today. Lost the whole day and did not go to grand canyon
I just follow the address in Google Maps last Friday and was ok, you get to the visitor center, park there and go to the 3 places to visit ( Skywalk and Eagle point, Guano point, and last the Hualapai Ranch ) all by bus. Advice: food is better in the Ranch but views are better in the other 2. Also if you can get the tickets online with the meal its cheaper than in other places.
I'm driving from Phoenix. Google map shows Peach Spring as the destination when I searched skywalk. What is the correct address?
If you stick with Google map, hit the Direction button, it should be ok, unless you copy the address and plug in the GPS then it may be a problem. You may have problem in reception in the middle of nowhere. But if you download the offline map before then it will works. Hope it helps.
I think Alex and Kyle were thinking about the actual grand canyon park which is on the opposite side.. this is different it's just the skywalk which happens to be in the indian reservation so make sure which one you actually want to visit
Meadview is where you head and not Peach Springs.
This is very helpful to know that the address is Meadview and NOT Peach Soeings. I drive all the way from Kingman to Peach Springs only to find that I had to drive all the way back to Kingman then another two hours from there, added 4 unnecessary hours to my trip :(
In these remote areas it's a good idea to locate the place on Google maps first before trusting the directions. But the Hualapai nation should defintely get rid of the Peach Spgs address as I can see how it messes up many people.
How far is Meadview AZ
I’m planning to go tomorrow, is it trustworthy the use of Wase or good maps or should I print the directions? Also, where’s the correct address? Thanks
