Lovely well marked trails. Daddy daughter hike to do a little geocaching. Took advantage of all the leaves down during the winter and got some lovely views.

The family and I had a wonderful hike here. There are many trails to hike on and it’s beautiful scenery with trees, lakes, ponds and animals. I would recommend to anyone. Hikes are good for even beginners.

The museum was small, but nice. It had a little garden, too, they must do research here. Nice staff. Real gems are the trails. Really nice historical buildings from what was once a private home of wealthy people.

This spot is exceptionally still and quiet. Love walking the space here and taking in the breathtaking glory of the sanctuary. The sanctuary sponsors artist in residency programs here in addition to being a space to find tranquility and ease. Great place to shoot photos and walk with family and friends. Be sure to check it out when in the area.

Lake Lacawac is used for scientific research and is closed to outside boats, however we have a number of canoes and row boats that visitors can use with permission. We also have regular guided outings on the lake, which can be very informative.
Yes, as long as they are on leash.
