Why are people asking to replace the Balto statue with Togo even when there is clear evidence that Balto was the one who brought the serum first? Can’t they just have both statues standing across from each other?

Both Togo and Balto were co-sled dogs which brought the medical serum to Nome Alaska. For whatever reason, Balto received more Fame and acclaim in the public View. Your suggestion to add a Togo statue to the other side of the pathway is a great idea.

Togo actually carried the serum more miles. Balto only carried it the last 55 miles but since he was the one that actually delivered it he received most of the recognition. I like your idea of having both statues.
