Hmmmm.... just don't know where to start with, firstly, my friend and I drove down from Texas to ATL for almost 13hrs sequel to the letter of reminder sent a day before by the passport office. On getting there, we met several people from different state with the same appointment standing at about 8:00 am only to found a paper pasted on the gate stating closure of the office due to covid-19 and thereby postponed all appointments. This was on 12/01/2020. Secondly, I'll advice you to not bother going except if you live close because we've had nothing from the so called passport office till date. but if you need to travel urgently, there's a guy in the building next to office, same compound, he said he issues travel documents. It's just the same business as usual from back home. I'm sorry 😞
Things have changed now. Go there and get your passport done irrespective of where you live in the USA. I did mine and got my new passport in less than 3 weeks
Same here.
