Inside the park there are several areas. One is the north pier by the coast guard station at beach 11. There is the east pier which is marked. West pier is also inside the park. Stop at the ranger station for directions.
Fishing in the channel is only from the North or South Pier. Because the walls of the channel are high, this is primarily still fishing, although there is some casting for bass. Since Presque Isle State Park opens at sun up and closes at sun down, there is no fishing on the North Pier at night.
