Is the park open this July 4? And does it get overcrowded at the beach?

Yes, & I don't think any businesses or anything are going to be firing off any fireworks, but you may see people on the bay just firing some off. But Waldameer & waterworld are also going to be open just reccomend reserving spots for there cause they are only allowed 50% capacity. Travel safe & Happy holiday.

The park is open and quickly gets crowded any time of the day. To get your preferred beach spot, arrive early. There are 11 beaches, the ones further out on the Peninsula are roomier and provide for a better and easier beach experience.
