We went for the beaches futher out ( beach no.10), they have fewer kids and less crowded. They have life guards and several picnic table and bathroom complexes. But they don't have running water, just changing. More people comes after 5pm, when the sun is not harsh. We have lovely time over there. Just been there last Sunday.

The beaches further out (higher numbered) are better for kids, less crowded and with the breakwaters the water is more shallow. Life guards are also tending to fewer swimmers since not as many go further out. There are several picnic and bathroom complexes at the higher numbered beaches as well and for kids this is better as well since again, less crowded.
Presque Isle beach has nearby bathrooms and changing rooms. It's also gorgeous and has a lot of parking
Yes there are bathrooms im not sure if they are at every beach. You just have to ride through we didn't get to spend a lot of time we were just sightseeing. Enjoy!
