Has anyone started from New York and made their way down to Georgia? Will anyone be doing the hike this weekend? I’m planning on starting tomorrow or Monday.

I have a feeling if you are asking this question here, your probably not ready for such a long trip. Hike and camp some weekends and get a feel for it.
