They just give 2 thousand appointments a month so they get scheduled the 1st o every month therefore go at midnight of the end of the month to see if you are lucky but they grant emergency appointments if you have an appointment at the DMV or MVA to get a driver's license or so
I do not know what happens but I have been trying to get an appointment for months and I was awake from midnight until dawn and I could not take a call and nothing happens and I need a passport without that, we are nothing here in the US
