We just left and this was an embarrassment to the Dominican Republic. They are so unorganized in this office. It’s like they have no training or have any idea how to run this office. There are kids of employees running around, they even lost my husbands cédula for which we had to pay them $15 to get a replacement. We have no idea if his new passport will arrive in the mail….. absolutely no faith in these people.

They did everything possible to help me and thank God I have everything ready to travel. Thank you very much to all of you who are such good people and very kind.

Surprised with the change that the Dominican embassy has given in terms of Service. Excellent !!! I will always be grateful to Mrs. Pilar, she made me feel like we were a family, very attentive and helpful, thanks to you I was able to get the document I needed. As a Dominican abroad, I am proud of the great work they are doing. LONG LIVE QUISQUELLA!!!

The people who work at this consulate are very friendly. They have very good knowledge and guided us perfectly to achieve what we need. The office very clean. The location is not very good as parking is difficult. But in general all the services received were to the expectation. Thank you very much.

Long time
They are not a Consulate so you must mean somewhere else. We got what we needed the same day (POA).
Yes you can but you have to go to the consulate
Thank you for contacting the Embassy of the Dominican Republic in Washington, D.C. With a valid U.S. Passport OR international passport + U.S. visa, U.S. resident card or, European Union (including Great Britain) or Canadian Visa valid throughout your stay in the Dominican you do not need a Dominican visa unless you are planning to visit for over 30 days, or conduct business there. Should you not have these, need to study, conduct business or travel longer than 30 days, then Dominican VISA is required prior. Regarding actual travel, payment for a tourist card which is a tax fee of USD$10.00 per person, as of April 1st of the past year the fee is probably already bundled with your airfare costs. Should it not be included, you may purchase the tourist card upon the port of entry into the Dominican Republic. For further information please visit our website at: http://drembassyusa.org/visas Sincerely, Embassy of The Dominican Republic
I went a few weeks ago and an appointment was mandatory. They are working from 9-1pm only if I recall. I called after 12 and someone answer right away. Good luck.
The first thing that you should contact them to make an appointment, since they do not attend you without an appointment, you must bring 2 2x2 photos with a white background and you must not have clothes or smiles or white clothes (the top part), you must have a Certificate of birth that is unextended legalized issued from 2016 onwards, identity card, the experienced passport and bring an application that they send you through your email when you make the appointment, the cost depends on the consulate in Washington the cost is 135 dollars and it takes from 1 month to 2 months to receive it.
at your embassy
I think not, but you can process the card that they ask you for as an ID to process any document in the Dominican Republic and/or Embassy.
Hi, I'm Victor Mieses.
I just went to the office in Washington, I paid $20 to renew the cédula and $150 for the dominican passport for 6yrs, or $200 for 10yrs. This is fresh info cause I was there two weeks ago and I had to find out that information on my own. Which now im glad to share and help others. Hope this helps😊
Alexis, your question is interesting because it involves several procedures of which I am not aware, but I would advise you to call the consulate or you can also contact them online and they will be able to give you more details .....
Yes it does
you have to go personally
You should be able to get that info and much more from the website of the Dominican consulate which will also provide a direct email...enjoy your visit!
Should be. But these people are only attending by appoiment,go on google and search for Dominican Rep.cinsulate in DC and you will see the number but they wont answer any way,try it. This place is a mess and disaster.
you have to dial the Embassy to set up an appointment.
the embassy never answers the calls all processes must be done in person ... unfortunately if you live far away they do not care and do not work with mailings ... it is a shame the bad service
You need to go into USA embassy
Spanish

They never answer, I need a job like that, getting paid for doing nothing
Hello, have you obtained your passport in this place?
No, if you renew your passport they will give it to you in a week, not the same day
Yes you can.
The Google maps forum is more for sightseeing info related to locations of significant sites and traveler interests notes on the map. For your questions you need to contact the embassy or look at the info they provide online at their website.
No, you don't need a visa to visit Dominican Republic.
I am you and I am not going, they are unaccountable, they have me waiting for more than a month and they do not answer the phone.
I'm still here in Winston-Salem. I call a lot and nothing
To go to Haiti you need to apply for a Visa. Though the system is so bad you don't really need one, I've been there plenty of times without one and I'm a dominican citizen. Now, where are you from? Haiti may not require your country a Visa so you need to look into that
