Washington Lake Park - All questions

Address: 626 Hurffville - Cross Keys Rd, Sewell, NJ 08080, USA

It's still there! It was contaminated by migrating Canada goose, so they had to close it for a while. It was "abandoned" and they recently tore down the building that was up there, but it's accessible for fishing and relaxing now. To reach it, head to Cedar Pond via the hiking trails. Then take the small path around the pond and up the back. You'll come to an open field over by the church. Hang a left and you'll see the access road. To get there directly from the park, take the nice trail from the butterfly pond. Go at your own risk, it's not well traversed anymore, there's vandalism and it's not a place for swimming. Fishing is catch and release only. Good luck!

Used to enter from Chapel Heights Road to get to lake. Not sure now.

I do not think there was ever a lake there, but not sure. It is the name of the park, which is misleading. There are 2 small ponds.
