The park is currently closed for the Winter but especially because construction of the museum is about to begin. Construction is expected to last about 2 years and I don't believe there are any events until it's complete. At the last event of the abbreviated 2021 season volunteers were told it's doubtful

Currently the Fossil Park is only open to scheduled School and organation events like the upcoming boy scout event. Once the museum is built it will be much more accessible. We do have a Geo Explorers Day camp during the summer. If you go to the Rowan University website you can get more information. The daycamp is a week long and is full of fun and educational activites including plenty of time fossil hunting. There are a few community events like movie night that involves a time to dig in the fossil park and then a family friendly dinosaur related movie but they fill up quickly so you will want to get on the email list to be notified when an upcoming event is opened to the public
