Anyone who can't drink is going to be bored.
Please don't be the alcoholic parents dragging their little kids here. Save your drinking time when they're not with you. There's nothing here to entertain a child so they end up wandering around or being grumpy. And do not expect adults at a bar to watch their language around your children. How about don't take them to a bar in the first place. JS
First and foremost the Saucer is a beer bar. That being said there is nothing inappropriate about bringing your kids particularly on a Sunday afternoon to watch a ball game etc. the food is good and kid friendly but it is not kid’s food. They typically have a high quality root beer on tap. I’ve been a beerknurd for over 20 years and it is very rare to see anyone inebriated at a Saucer, but it does happen. The Saucer is a great place to model appropriate drinking habits for your kids and to let them see that drinking is about quality and not quantity.
It's a bar.
There's no children's menu or activities. It's a bar with food.
We have taken our kids there several times. Once inside and once on the patio. They enjoyed the food and looking at the decor. (Ages 14, 12, and 7).
Not so much.
I don't agree with the idea that kids would be bored, it's a really cool place! Even the bathroom floors are pretty exciting lol. Just don't expect a Chuck E Cheese experience from a bar
Not aimed kids, but doesn't exclude them. I think they'd have a better time on the patio or the weekend.
Not really. Great patio and outdoor space.
