There is no entrance fee.
There is no fees for anything. The forest is run by a non profit organization and is entirely funded through donations and fund raising, the main one being a 5k race held on Thanksgiving (there is still time to send in your entry!)
Definitely free for day use. I'm not sure whether there is a fee for overnight camping.
