My grand-daughter loves tumbling here. She is only 5 and easily distracted. She is not really listening to her coaches and thinks this is a big play date. Is this normal for her age group? Any helpful suggestions would be great.

I agree. My daughter started at 3. She was all over the place. I felt bad for the coaches, LOL! She's 4 now and she has settled down quite a bit. It took a couple of months but I think she was also excited and there's so much going on at once. I understand why it's hard for them to focus or be still.

Yes, this is normal for a 5 year old. I'm not sure how long she has been attending TTC, but that usually gets better after they have been coming to class for a month or two and start learning the rules and expectations. Sometimes doing a private lesson (one-on-one) helps with that as well. Tawny Smith
