They use a crystalized chlorine treatment that is recirculated by the pumps. I believe they administer it daily around 2pm. They recommend keeping the dogs out of the water for 15 minutes after they throw in the crystals. It is as safe to drink as swimming pool water, and may make your dog's stool a little loose.
I don't know what's in the water so therefore I don't really know if its okay or not i would think it's harmless
