Just a word of caution, just because your little dog is used to big dogs does NOT mean the big ones are used to little dogs. Many larger breeds see little dogs as prey and I have seen more then one small dog die because their owner brought them in the bug dog area.
We see both big and small dogs in the large dog area all the time. I haven't observed signage that would prevent small dogs from being in the other area. It would really be about you maintaining control of your small dog to make sure they are safe.
Yes, and vice versa assuming everyone behaves. My gf has a very large rott/lab mix who is quite old. We often take her to the small dog side as the younger big dogs are just too much for her.
