We were there over the last weekend and it looked as though all the trails were open. The parking lots were full and the overflow was parked out along the roads. We went kayaking and had a wonderful time but if you're looking to sit on the beach you may be in for a little walk to find an open space.

There are 2 entrances: Garner Rd and East Bay Rd. Garner Rd has no trails that get you to the beach, unless you consider navigating the bluffs down to the beach as an option. Go to E Bay Rd, there's a small parking lot there and takes you to the beach. The bluffs will be to the West, other beachead to the East
Yes you can the east west trail then drunline up to the bluffs
Was there a few weeks ago and the trail close to the bluffs was closed but you could still find your way down to the beach
Everything was open when I was there a few weeks ago. Lots of people on trails and beach. You may have to hike up the shore a bit for a beach spot. It's not accessible if you go on the east side of the park, so pack lightly.
