There's a Facebook group called "Arizona Hiking", people arrange quite a few group hikes. If you are into trail running at all try surpriserunningclub.org
Drew, there is a hikers group on meetup!
Not 100% as I'm not from here, but you could try Meetup and see what they have. Where I am from there are a lot of hiking groups on that site.
I'm from Indiana originally too! Welcome to Arizona. I have joined a lot of the parks Facebook pages it's a great way to see when they are doing guides hikes. White tank does a scorpion walk that you should check out once it warms up again

There are park Rangers that do hikes out there. And also there is a group called friends of white tanks that do hikes . You can also go into the nature center there and they will be able to give you more information.
The website has good info on this. The trails are very accessible and not very difficult. They also have info at the trailheads.
