That's not exactly a high standard but, yes, Burns is much better than Pappas. You'll find that Pappas Bbq is bland in comparison to the rich smokey flavor you get in the meat from Burns and other independently owned and operated BBQ joints in and around Houston.

I think Goode Co. Much better than Pappas. Also try Gatlins. I would go to Rudys before Pappas. Also Luling city. However their sauce is watery. Meats are good.
