Yes, there is a juvenile alligator who likely came from Buffalo Bayou and has taken up residence in the Meadow Pond.

Went to George Bush Park right now and didn't see any. Would this be too cold for them to come out? Might check out Buffalo Bayou later

They found a 5 footer in my neighborhood about 3 miles away but I've never personally seen one anywhere close to the park or Houston in general.

Not that i have ever seen, but they are in the buffalo bayou that runs nearby so it's possible. If you are actually trying to find gators go to Brazos Bend Park to see dozens up close where they sun themselves on the walking paths. George Bush park if you would prefer to keep your distance.
