Why would anyone want to play "catch and release"?? That causes extreme damage to the fish which would eventually be harmed from the hook wounds. Is this question even for real? I do hope that absolutely no type of fishing is allowed at the Arboretum!

No

I've never witnessed fishing at the arboretum. I would think fishing is not allowed as it is a sanctuary for Houston native plants and wildlife.

There is no public fishing at the Arboretum.
