No place to leave dog close by. It's a short tour, so you could possibly take turns. The Cistern will be closed for tours Thursday, June 28 – Thursday, July 5th due to Freedom Over Texas.
I went on a cistern tour, and it's not really something you get to explore. It's one room and it's a big Square. On the tour you just walk around the square and then exit. With a pupper, I recommend skipping the tour and just enjoying the park.
