Why isn't there a bus available on Barstow Avenue leading to Fresno State? Barstow is a very busy street and I would take the bus if there was one available straight down Barstow. I live West of Blackstone Avenue. Sure beats driving through traffic.

You need to talk to the City Counsel. If enough people request a route on Barstow, the City will listen. There has to be a demand from the public to make that happen. You can call 621-7433 to find out how a route can be created, or they'll point you in the right direction.

There are three buses that service Fresno State. 9, 28, and 38. All of these buses are on either 15 or 20 minute service. Since you're near Blackstone, you can take the route 1 to Shaw and then route 9 from there. Route 1 has either 10 or 15 minute service depending on the time of day. With the right timing you could get there in about 30 minutes.
