There is no official public word or order to shut down transit at this time. As of Mon transit should still be running unless something changes between now & then. Most major cities in CA. & east coast that have shutdown schools colleges & university's have not shut down public transit so far & I suspect they won't unless absolutely constrained by direct order of govt & or public health officials.

Yes, there are spaces for two wheelchairs to board each bus. Each bus is also equipped with devices to assist the sight impaired customers. The buses also kneel to make it easier to board. The buses also have ramps to board wheelchairs or customers that are unable to step on board. FAX also accommodates customers with service animals.

It depends on which cross street near Dayton you're located. Your best bet is to take a northbound bus to Shaw and transfer to the route 9. Route 9 services Fig Garden Village.

Just ask the driver for a transfer when you pay your fare. The transfers are good for 90 minutes and one use transferring from Clovis to FAX. Check the system map for which Clovis lines intersect with FAX. You can transfer at those locations.

The only routes with 60 minute service are the 45 and 58. Most of the rest are on 30 minute service. 28 and 34 are in 20 minute service and the 9 and 38 are 15 minute service. Route 1 is 10 minute service during peak hours them 15 minute service after that. All buses go to hour service after about 8:00 pm. Try using the "My FAX Bus" app available on Google play and the Apple store. This app provides real time bus information to help you ride the bus.

FAX personnel do the best they can to minimize the impact on their customers but sometimes delays are beyond their control. On a positive note, many of the routes have increased frequencies which means another bus should arrive within 15 - 20 minutes during peak hours. The best advice I can give on riding the bus is to plan your trip with time to spare. Don't wait for the last possible bus to get you to your destination. Ride an earlier bus so you can make connections to other buses. Plus, if the unexpected happens there will be another bus arriving shortly to get you to your destination on time.
