Crooked company. During the remote diagnostic the technician was visibly using trial versions of software, he was clicking past the 30-day trial pop-ups and everything, sad! They then added a recurring $25 per month charge for a bogus anti-virus software which I had to call them to cancel. Very low brow, very low energy people. Possibly communists.

I went here because I had a hard time getting my GPU working and needed the skill of a professional - and I was not disappointed. I know a fair bit about computers, but I also know when a problem is outside of my abilities. The service provided was friendly, knowledgeable, respectful, quick, and I was called several times with updates and questions about how to proceed. I was also given a full breakdown of what was done, what was wrong, and he even fixed a few extra elements that I hadn't realized were there (like the placement of the exhaust on my liquid cooling). A wonderful and lovely set of nerds here, I strongly recommend.

Thanks for reaching out. Yes, I think this is fixable. You'll want to bring it by the shop so we can figure out what's causing this. It could be a heat issue that is easily fixed, or it could mean we need to dig a little deeper to find the root cause.

It depends on a couple of factors. Is it an Android phone or an iPhone? If it's an Android, did you use Google Photos? If yes to both, good news, your photos should be fine, just log into your Google Photos account to retrieve your pics. If you don't;t use Google Photos, did you have a memory card in your phone? if you did your personal data may still be on the memory card. If not, all hope is not lost, I'd suggest calling into our support team to see if they can walk you through a couple of things. If you have an iPhone, did you have iCloud enabled for Photos? If so, log into your iCloud account and you should see all of your photos. If you didn't have iCloud enabled you may be out of luck. You could try restoring to an older backup if you had that feature enabled. Either way, we can try to walk you through a few things over the phone, or bring it into one of our shops and we can try to recover your data.
