I was in your situation, but was not driving! I was looked after by a staff member for 90 mins or more and than allowed to leave! They cannot take responsibility for what might happen to you! Better have a friend with you!
A patient should make every attempt to have a driver. However, circumstances may arise where a patient does not have anyone to drive them home when valium is needed. For these rare instances, patients will be allowed to receive valium and use public transportation other than RTC. Patients without drivers will be required to: Sign our sedation consent form Sign our medication release form Be given post sedation restrictions Acknowledge their understanding of the post sedation restrictions Remain inside the imaging center for at least 90 minutes from the time of the last administration of valium Be released by SDMI staff Wait inside the imaging center until a taxi, Uber or Lyft arrives NOTE: Every attempt should be made to schedule patients using public transportation before noon.
