Will Dr.Ong consider doing surgery on the knee of an obese patient. I have been turned down by three other MDs and don’t want to waste my time or the doctors if he won’t consider doing surgery.

I think you should consider why they hesitate to do surgery on an obese patient, if you dont already know. There are a number of risks, especially if the doctors feel it is the excessive weight which is the major contributing cause of the knee injury. Why would you attempt to fix a problem if the cause of the problem isn't addressed first? Also consider the risk associated with using anesthesia on an obese patient.

I feel like you should call the office and ask. There is no harm in asking.

Dr. Ong is regarded as one of the best surgeons in the state of Nevada. Call and find out if surgery is possible or what you need to do for surgery.
