easy to get makeral if you fishing them on day so you need you sabiki hook 5 or 6 hook. you dont need the bait just waiting them go in you. If you fishing at night you need only 1 hook for 6 size or 5 . and 1/2 weight amd one lights blue. you bait shrimp when I go always I get alot of makeral. only newport pier alot off makeral. dont go to find somewhere that waste your time. trust me
