I want to get a concealed carry permit and they say the applicaiton with be 1 month faster with fingerprints. I'm fingerprinted for TSA Precheck can I use that? Otherwise what is the charge and timeframe.

The laws of Illinois require that every time finger prints are required you must submit a new set. So if you want a CCL and work in security or a school or a nurse you must submit prints for each one separately and pay a fee. Although the state fee is about $32 the vendor can charge any fee they want. Of course the machine and license cost money so that is only fair. I have seen costs for prints as low as $55 and as high as $100 so shop around.
