If it's for a subspecialty you will likely need a referral from your primary care physician, otherwise call the department you want to be seen in and ask to schedule a new patient appointment.

If you can get one of your current doctors to write you a referral to one of the doctors at NW (it doesn't have to be a primary doctor) you can then askthe NW doctor to refer you to a primary doctor.
