You have to go personally to Central Missouri Community Action Center. They will do utilities but not rent. I don't know anyone in Columbia that will pay your rent.
If that doesn't work, go to first Baptist Church.
Hi Jacque, currently there is not a way to apply online for energy assistance, but you can download the application on our site and mail it in. We do operate the Housing Choice Voucher Program which provides rental assistance. Please call Colita at 573-777-5212 and she can assist you with both of those things.
No you have to go in there and hand in the paperwork. Not sure about rent assistance.
