Rusk rehabilitation Hospital Columbia Missouri Human resources department . I found to be very unprofessional..I applied and was offered a position At Rusk But never heard anything more from them.. Even after having called HR on 3 different occasions And left phone voicemail all 3 times inquiring about the status of my application and their offer.

It's been a frustrating road. I've had rude nurses laugh at me trying to get help, I've had them tell me the only reason I'm here is to help my husband, which I have, but if I'm going to do all the work then why are they here for? I've been told I'm supposed to get trained for transferring and other stuff but I don't feel like i was, I felt like I was doing a lot of it in the moment and trying to figure it out on my own. I was there 3.5 weeks before I was explained what the gate belt was, even though they insisted I use it, "to help catch him" not "pull him in the right direction of his bed, chair, toilet, etc. If you stay they expect you to do most of the stuff, even if you aren't experienced, and get an attitude if you request assistance. I'm still shocked i was laughed at.

Pack loose clothing and clothes that are comfortable. They have two washing machines which staff will wash or you can make that apart of your therapy with your therapist. Maybe something to do when you have free time, books, crosswords, laptop, etc. We also have a lock box safe if you want to bring money for delivery or for vending machines down stairs. Toliteries are provided but you can bring your own if you prefer. Maybe ear plugs or headphones because most rooms are split rooms with 2 beds. Hope this helps!

I am not sure. I don't work there, just a patient.
No, sorry
I am not sure what you mean by group? For what group? There is one for strokes, one for alzheimers,..
They probably do but I'm not sure you could look up the phone number and call and see hopefully that will be helpful to you
I had similar incidents with the weekend nurses. They could have cared less. The physical therapy team was great. I was hurting really bad and wanted to try heat on my ailments but I was not ever able to use heat because they were all being used. So then I did the ice packs, if there was some, I wanted to try heat to see if it would help more. I thought that was disappointing for a rehabilitation hospital. And the bathrooms are absolutely disgustingly dirty. This is my fourth trip here and every time I was question about my stay I reported how this "hospital" was filthy!!😵
No library. I was very impressed with the people who took care of my brother l commend them .ty
