As Laura said, about an hour ahead but if you want to get in to have any time for a drink or good spot you should aim for 2-2.5 hours. The line wraps around the building pretty fast.

Get there three hours ahead of time. Bring water and a snack. Always leave a person in line to save spots for a bathroom break. You can drink booze in line but the bouncers ask you to finish before entering.
