There's a $20 copay for up to 75 lbs of household hazardous chemicals, alkaline and rechargeable batteries and fluorescent light bulbs. Certain items are free, like paint, 1 lb propane cylinders and automotive batteries. Please see the website at www.rooneyroadrecycling.org to read about what is accepted and to set up an appointment. Thank you. Rooney Road Recycling Center.
